I wonder if doing such quizzes will conjure up snow early in the season... Last time we were snowed in, last January, it was a nightmare; not because of the snow itself but because of the ice underneath. I actually wished for more snow, to have more depth and better traction.
I don't care too much for snow, beyond its show value. The quiz is dead right on the fires and hot drinks versus snow sports part. I enjoy looking at snow, and I would miss it if I had to live somewhere it never snowed (even in Athens we had a blizzard every couple of years or so), but I'd rather not go out in it too much.
