I'm not sure if this assessment as a whole would apply in my life in general - I can be too laid back (that's a euphemism for 'procrastination queen') to really push myself. It's definitely spot on in NaNo season, though. Oh, and the 'better fail than not try at all' bit? That's absolutely me at all times.
