I've never even tried Guinness, but I'm intrigued by the black stuff. Generally, if I replace 'beer' with 'wine', this would be spot on. I'm an unsociable person who makes a very sociable drinker (booze does make me open up, teehee). I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a snob, but picky I am, and my pickiness has to do with what I do like, not what I should like.
'Tis the season to pick a few new bottles to enjoy - moderately - after dinner...
